THE FAIR PLAY PROJECT

Details of this exciting and fast-growing project can be found in the “About Flegg” area of our website under the heading “Pupil-Led Initiatives”, and in “Our Business Partners” under “Norwich City Football Club”.  Apart from its regular Carrow Road conferences embracing an increasing number of Norfolk High Schools, and our rolling programme of Peer Counselling training days, the most striking recent development is our link with Starehe Boys’ and Girls’ Centres in Nairobi, Kenya.  A staff visit to Nairobi last October, in which several schools took part, offered a powerful insight into the role of responsible student leadership in these remarkable institutions.  It was followed in June 2006 by a week-long visit to Starehe by fifty students and staff from Flegg High, with opportunities for study, sightseeing and sport.

A second study visit for Norfolk High School staff is planned for this autumn.
