Business Challenges

Our two Business teachers, Miss Rees and Miss Duthie, have helped their Year 10 pupils to set up their own Young Enterprise company. The school has managed to reach the Norfolk finals each year since entering the competition, and holds its head high when competing against sixth formers from other schools.

This year's 'Blue Duck Young Enterprise Company' is making a SNAP publication, which involves the hard selling of advertising space. Miss Rees has also just launched a 'Fantasy Shares' programme, which is being generously supported by Mansells. Pupils are given a 'virtual' amount of money to invest in the stock market, and then have to track the performance of their investment.
